SYNOPSIS

Here is Jenna and here is Jonas. A contemporary dancer and a b-boy. Both physically trained to master techniques and control their bodies. Together they are decoding the skilled and disciplined body into a new way of movement and partnering. The active and the passive. The manipulator and the manipulated one. “The living-body” and “the dead-body”.

BIO

Collective Dope is a Hungary-based contemporary dance and performing arts collective founded and directed by Jenna Jalonen and Nóra Horváth, who are inviting and collaborating with other artists from different backgrounds and art forms. Besides developing choreographic work, they organize the [D]OPEN YOUR MOVE mini-festival, a platform to support young contemporary and urban dancers. Their works have received the Rudolf Laban Prize twice for best contemporary dance performance.
