LALI AYGUADÉ

From gravity to lightness

  • Date: 11/07 to 15/07

SYNOPSIS

By paying attention to the base of the body, the class focuses on how we use feet to understand the way in which we dance and how we stand on the floor through the movement’s flow. By extracting energy from feet and legs, the rest of the body can express itself freely and experiment a continuous movement. The energy of the body never stops, even when standing still.

BIO

Dancer and choreographer. Lali Ayguadé has worked with Akram Khan, Hoefesh Shechter, Roberto Olivan, Marcos Morau and Baro d’Evel. Lali has been working on her own creations for seven years now. She started with short duets such as Incognito, Saba and De camino al otro, and then she went into longer pieces such as Kokoro, Iu an mi and Here, the latter was co-directed by Guilhem Chatir. Her last piece, Underneath, is another short duet created with Lisard Tranis.
