SYNOPSIS
The Rhythm & Vibe workshop travels through different styles of urban dance and rescues the initial energy, the motor, the connection with the music and the vibration they have.
This workshop invites the body to play with rhythm, textures, groove, dissociation, musicality... Offering tools both to improvise and to follow a choreography.
BIO
Aina Lanas is a dancer, choreographer and creator. In the last 20 years, her career has developed between urban dance and contemporary dance. She runs her own project, Cia Aina Lanas, and collaborates as a performer and co-creator on projects such as Cia InMotus, Alex Sierra Music, Lacerda and Jazzbetween. Aina has stepped on the stages of numerous festivals such as: HOP, Figueres es mou, Deltebre Dansa, LaMachine, Nómada, La Mercè, Sismògraf, Loop, Danza Almada, SchaubudenSommer or Spoffin, among others.
Irene Baeza is a dancer from Cádiz and trained in Barcelona. She focuses on urban dance, in addition to experimenting and mixing other styles such as contemporary dance and Afro-contemporary dance. She is currently focusing on tap training. She has been a dancer for the Aina Lanas Company, for the La Banda Street Groove Company, for the Cia. Les Oiseaux Percès, for Julien Rossin and co-choreographer and dancer for the Kampai Collective.
